An Analog Synth For The Modern World

polyUAnalog is an open-source polyphonic analog synthesizer project built by researchers at the University of Angers, France. It uses the AS3397 analog synthesizer IC paired with a Raspberry Pi Pico per voice, with a conductor board handling MIDI input and distributing control signals via I2C to each voice. The prototype supports ten voices but is designed to scale further. A paper has been published alongside the project.
