ELM11-Feather Is a Feather-Compatible Board That Speaks Lua Natively

BrisbaneSilicon has launched a Crowd Supply campaign for the ELM11-Feather, a Feather-compatible board built around a GOWIN FPGA rather than a traditional microcontroller. It runs Lua natively on a dual-core setup, with full-stack programmability across three layers: Lua for application code, C for drivers, and VHDL/SystemVerilog for hardware overlays. The 23 configurable I/O pins, 1 MB RAM, built-in LiPoly charger, and Feather form factor make it compatible with existing FeatherWing accessories. A companion IDE called Arvore unifies all three programming layers. The board is priced at $29, hardware schematics and firmware API will be MIT-licensed post-campaign.
