A workflow for converting reveal.js slide decks (generated from Emacs Org-mode) to PDF using decktape. The author shares a shell script called runoff.sh that spins up a local Python HTTP server, runs decktape against the presentation HTML, and kills the server on exit. Key findings: the Docker image of decktape produced different font rendering compared to a native macOS install, so local installation was preferred. Two remaining gaps are noted: no page numbers on slides and no satisfactory 2-up PDF layout tool after Ghostscript broke.
