SpecForge – A Platform for Authoring Formal Specifications

SpecForge is a formal specification tool that uses the Lilo temporal specification language for hybrid systems. Lilo supports primitive types, standard operators, and temporal operators like always, eventually, past, and historically, with optional time-interval qualifiers. Specifications are organized into systems containing signals, parameters, types, definitions, and specs. The SpecForge VSCode extension provides analysis capabilities including monitoring (checking recorded behavior against specs), exemplification (generating satisfying traces), falsification (finding counterexamples against a model), export to other formats, and animation. Analysis can also be performed programmatically via a Python SDK.
