Tiny Calixto Systems AM62L STAMP SOM targets industrial automation, HMI applications, EV chargers

Calixto Systems has launched the AM62L STAMP SOM, a compact 40x40mm system-on-module built around the Texas Instruments Sitara AM62L dual-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor running at up to 1.25 GHz. The module supports up to 2GB LPDDR4x RAM, 8–16GB eMMC, Gigabit Ethernet, dual USB 2.0 OTG, MIPI DSI and parallel RGB display, CAN FD, and extensive industrial I/Os, plus hardware security features including AES, RSA/ECC, TRNG, and secure boot. An evaluation kit exposes key interfaces including Ethernet, USB, CAN, RS485, display connectors, and a mikroBUS expansion socket. Software support comes via a Yocto-based Linux BSP with bootloader, kernel, and root filesystem. The module targets industrial automation, HMIs, EV chargers, and smart retail, with commercial and industrial temperature variants available. Pricing has not been disclosed.
