After 6 Years As Road Ornament A Widescreen Sony Trinitron Lives Again

A weather-ravaged Sony Trinitron widescreen CRT TV, rescued after six years lying beside an Italian road, gets fully repaired in a follow-up video. The hobbyist replaces most capacitors on the power supply board, the neck board, and a couple of failed MOSFETs, bringing the set back to life. Once powered up, the TV runs a Wii console playing games like Persona 4, and its built-in service menu allows picture alignment tweaks without manual potentiometer adjustment. Some PCB components and a grimy speaker still need attention, but the repair demonstrates that a CRT is worth saving as long as the tube itself remains intact.
