Brief Server Downtime Expected Tonight

Phoronix and associated sites will be down briefly around midnight PST / 3AM EST on 1 November for a failed drive in the NVMe SSD RAID array. The drive can't be hot-swapped, so HiVelocity will need to power down the server. Michael Larabel notes the failed drive was replaced just one year ago and suggests that AI scraping bots and similar may have been hammering the site especially hard this year.
