Coffee Maker Steam Wand Gets A Safe Outlet

A hacker designed and 3D printed a device called the Coffee Steam Dryer (V2) that safely captures and redirects the steam and hot water spatter expelled from an espresso machine's steam wand during purging. The pipe-like tool, printed in heat-resistant ABS or ASA, uses expansion chambers to cool and slow the steam, condensing much of it before it exits, and has no moving parts, making it easy to disassemble for cleaning.
