A hobbyist builds a fanless, silent PC using a hand-worked aluminum block as a case and passive heatsink, with household copper piping soldered into a custom liquid cooling loop feeding three stacked radiators. Thermal paste and thick thermal pads transfer heat from the power supply and motherboard to the aluminum block. Testing revealed the stacked radiators couldn't cool enough and a pressure gauge was noisy; adding a single 120mm fan and removing the gauge solved both issues, yielding a quiet, good-looking, high-performing living room PC.
