Framework Laptop 16 With GeForce RTX 5070 12GB, One-Piece Keyboard & Haptic Touchpad

Framework Computer has begun shipping new hardware options for the Framework Laptop 16, including a GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU module for gaming or CUDA/AI workloads, plus a one-piece touchpad and one-piece keyboard for a cleaner input layout without side spacers. The touchpad is a $129 CNC aluminum palm-rest with a 124x77mm haptic surface, currently sold out, while the keyboard uses open-source QMK firmware. Testing on Fedora Workstation 44 and Ubuntu 26.04 LTS showed the new components working well out of the box on Linux.
