Getting To Know The TP223 Capacitive Touch Sensor

The TP223 (TTP223) capacitive touch module can replace mechanical switches, working through plastic, glass, or wood panels. It draws less than 2 microamps at rest, and two unsoldered jumpers let builders configure four behavior modes: normal high-while-touched, inverted output, toggle-on-press, and inverted toggle. Thicker panels or added capacitors can tune sensitivity and reduce false triggers, making the module useful for 3D-printed enclosures or DIY power switches.
