A hobbyist known as Jamie built a functional table saw using LEGO components combined with an air-powered turbine motor and a real metal blade. The project builds on earlier work developing a 3D-printed turbine geometry to convert compressed air into rotation efficiently. The final build includes safety features like a dead-man switch requiring constant hand contact and an auto-feed mechanism for guiding wood into the blade, though the feeder proved finicky. Non-LEGO parts like an air compressor were needed to make the saw practical.
