A hobbyist built a 10-valve cylinder head for a 3D-printed internal combustion engine, inspired by historical multi-valve motorbike engines like the Yamaha FX750. The new head uses five intake and five exhaust valves made from large wood screws, chosen because they can withstand combustion heat. It's a CNCed aluminium and nylon-printed hybrid, and the existing camshaft drives five valves at once through an adapter. The engine runs well after tuning, but no performance comparison against the original four-valve head was given yet.
