Turning A Run-Over Samsung Galaxy S23 Into A Gaming PC

A broken Samsung Galaxy S23, run over and purchased for about $40, was transformed into a gaming PC using its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The build involved disassembly, straightening the frame, installing a new battery, 3D-printing a case glued to a 512 GB SSD cage, and adding active cooling with a hot-glued heatsink and fan, lowering temperatures by about 7°C. The result runs Samsung DeX desktop mode well, supporting emulated PS2 games via a PS2 emulator, Dolphin emulator games, and Steam/GoG titles through GameHub.
