Belt File From Old Mixer And Junk Bin Parts

A maker named bluesyann converted an old mixer into a working belt file (belt sander) by repurposing its motor and enclosure as a built-in handle. The build uses a 3D printed pulley attached to the mixer motor, a bearing set into aluminum U-channel, scrap wood, and a threaded-rod tension adjuster. A bill of materials and 3D model for the pulley are shared, with the focus on general approach rather than exact replication, since most of the challenge lies in working around the fixed mixer components. A video demo is included, along with a link to a similar angle-grinder-based belt sander attachment for those without a spare mixer.
