Framework Laptop 12 Updated For Intel Wildcat Lake, Shipping Starts In October

Framework Computer is updating the Framework Laptop 12 with an Intel Core Series 3 "Wildcat Lake" processor option, adding Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 7, and an optional backlit keyboard, plus the choice of Fedora Linux pre-loaded. Pre-orders open now with shipping starting in October. DIY Edition pricing starts at $549 (Core 3 304), $779 (Core 5 320), and $999 (Core 7 350), while pre-built models cost $699, $1099, and $1399 respectively. Wildcat Lake support under Linux is expected to be solid with recent kernel versions.
