Linux 7.3 UBI Adds Support For Per-Device Wear-Leveling Thresholds

Linux kernel version 7.3 merges support for per-device wear-leveling thresholds in the UBI (Unsorted Block Images) layer used for NAND flash memory management. Previously the wear-leveling threshold was a single compile-time constant shared by all UBI devices on a system. The change, contributed by Ran Hongyun of Huawei, introduces a new wl_threshold option for the ubi.mtd module parameter, allowing each NAND flash device to have its own boot-time configurable threshold, or a value of zero to fall back to the old compile-time constant. This benefits systems with multiple NAND flashes that have different erase lifetimes. The patch was merged via a pull request on the Linux kernel mailing list.
