The Python Software Foundation (PSF) is reopening its Grants Program with a limited 2026 funding round capped at $90,000 USD. Applications are open August 4–25 for conferences and workshops scheduled between December 1, 2026, and April 30, 2027. Conference grants are capped at $2,000 and workshop grants at $1,500, with priority given to regional communities that paused activities due to the previous grants pause. Consolidated grant types will not be accepted; individual applications are required. Decisions will be communicated by September 14, with disbursement starting the same day.
