AMD's GAIA Continues Striving To Be Your Ultimate AI Companion For Emails

AMD released GAIA 0.22, a local AI app update focused heavily on email agent capabilities. New features include tracking emails you're waiting on, tasks you've committed to, drafting replies that mimic your writing style by analyzing your Sent history, scheduling email prompts via cron jobs, and handling attachments. The email agent now runs as a sidecar process installable from the Agent Hub. Other updates include cron dispatch for the CLI, agents that distill repeated procedures, and RAG support for Word documents. The email agent is still in beta and AMD cautions users to treat its output as a draft requiring review.
