Threat actors are deploying phishing campaigns that automatically adapt to a victim's device and operating system by fingerprinting browser user-agent data. This allows attackers to deliver OS-specific payloads — for example, FleetDeck for macOS or Tiflux RAT for Windows — and mimic trusted platforms like Google, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom based on the victim's environment. Cloudflare user-agent blocking is being leveraged to redirect traffic before victims even reach the malicious page. Attackers also use Telegram for data exfiltration. The motivation is economic: platform-aware campaigns increase compromise rates and ROI by monetizing clicks from any OS. Defenses recommended include FIDO2 authentication, cross-platform monitoring, post-click visibility into redirect chains, and treating employees as active threat sensors rather than a last line of defense.
