New CitrixBleed-like NetScaler flaw sees exploit attempts in the wild

Citrix has patched a new memory overread vulnerability (CVE-2026-8451) in NetScaler appliances, dubbed CitrixBleed-like, with active exploitation attempts already observed in the wild less than 24 hours after the patch release. The flaw allows unauthenticated malformed requests to leak process memory data on appliances configured as SAML Identity Providers. While it leaks smaller amounts of data than previous CitrixBleed variants and doesn't appear to expose session tokens directly, the leaked memory pointers could help attackers bypass ASLR and chain with other vulnerabilities. The same patch cycle also addresses two high-severity memory overflow flaws, an arbitrary file read, another out-of-bounds overread, and an HTTP/2 denial-of-service issue. Citrix advises immediate upgrade to specific NetScaler ADC and Gateway versions, and watchTowr published a Python detection script to test exposure.
