Conveyor Belt GBoard Brings The Keys To You

Google Japan has released an absurd conveyor-belt keyboard design on GitHub, complete with firmware, STL files for 3D printing, and a build guide. Four staggered rows of keys ride on 3D-printed chain belts driven by a motor, with flexible PCBs wiring each row, but the mechanism for getting keypress signals off the moving belt and into a computer is left as 'TBD' and the source code is incomplete. It follows earlier joke keyboards from the same team, including a hat-shaped keyboard and a rotary-phone keyboard.
