Copilot budget increase requests are generally available

GitHub Copilot now generally supports budget increase requests, letting members who exhaust their AI credit budget request more instead of being blocked outright. Organization owners, enterprise owners, or billing managers can review pending requests under 'Requests from members,' set a new budget amount, and approve it directly from settings to restore the member's access immediately. Requests route automatically to whichever account (organization or enterprise) owns the budget. The feature applies to GitHub Copilot Business and Enterprise plans under usage-based billing.
