Firefox 156 Available With Its Built-In PDF Viewer Starting Up To 45% Faster

Firefox 156.0 has been released with its built-in PDF viewer now starting up to 45% faster, plus improved memory and CPU usage when displaying large JPEG images scaled down for web pages. The release also fixes an issue with high-sample-rate FLAC audio in MP4 failing on some sites and various platform-specific bugs. Vulkan Video decoding for newer NVIDIA GPUs, tested in nightly builds, did not make it into this stable release and remains nightly-only. The update is available now from Mozilla's FTP release server.
