Announcing Mozilla.org

Mozilla has officially created Mozilla.org, a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit designed to act as a strategic endowment for the entire Mozilla Project. It will allocate funding, manage brands, and shape long-term strategy across Mozilla's growing portfolio — which now includes Firefox, a privacy-focused email service, an open source AI startup, a data-sharing platform, and a responsible tech investment arm. All existing Mozilla organizations remain under the Mozilla Foundation umbrella, with Mozilla.org operating the portfolio on its behalf. The restructuring aims to better coordinate Mozilla's efforts as AI reshapes the web.
