New low-cost burstable Amazon EC2 T8i instances are generally available

AWS announced general availability of EC2 T8i instances, low-cost burstable compute powered by custom sixth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (Granite Rapids). T8i offers up to 30% better price performance and up to 70% higher compute performance than previous-generation T3 instances, with the same CPU credit system for easy migration. It comes in four sizes (nano, micro, small, medium), supports Standard and Unlimited credit modes (Unlimited by default), and is available across multiple AWS regions via On-Demand and Spot purchasing, with micro and small tiers included in the AWS Free Tier.
