OpenCL 3.1.2 Released With cl_khr_command_buffer Promoted

The Khronos Group released OpenCL 3.1.2, which promotes the cl_khr_command_buffer extension from experimental to finalized status. This extension enables recording and replaying buffers of OpenCL commands, reducing the overhead of repeatedly enqueuing the same workload. The extension was developed with contributions from NVIDIA, Intel, Google, Codeplay, Qualcomm, and other stakeholders.
