Progress and GitNation hosted a 48-hour hackathon at React Summit and JSNation in Amsterdam, drawing over 30 finished projects focused on improving tech conference experiences. The grand prize went to HALLWAY, a mobile-first app that personalizes conference schedules and networking. First runner-up Conf Pilot built an MCP server delivering live conference schedules as interactive widgets inside AI chat. Second runner-up Stuck Stack created a live help marketplace for conference attendees. Notable honorable mentions include Unison (real-time multilingual dubbing), CrowdShift (live audience analytics for speakers), and ConferenceCast (multi-track conference as a TV broadcast). All projects used Telerik and Kendo UI components.
