AMD ZenDNN 6.0 Brings Many Improvements For Accelerating Inference On Ryzen/EPYC CPUs
AMD has released ZenDNN 6.0, a significant update to its open-source deep neural network library optimized for AMD Zen-based CPUs (Ryzen and EPYC). Key improvements include enhancements to the Low Overhead API (LowOHA), expanded Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) group GEMM and FP16 operator coverage, and post-op and weight caching. The library serves as AMD's alternative to Intel's oneDNN and integrates with TensorFlow and PyTorch via plug-ins. Notably, this release arrives ahead of the official AMD Zen 6 CPU launch.
