Amiga-Inspired AROS Goes Bare Metal On Raspberry Pi

The AROS Research Operating System, a modern reimplementation of AmigaOS, has been ported to run bare-metal on the Raspberry Pi in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, rather than only virtualized under Linux as before. The current build targets the Pi3, with forum discussion around expanding support to the Pi4 and Zero2W. Software availability on ARM is still limited compared to the x86 port, and the project is described as early and in progress. AROS has previously been ported to x86, PowerPC (feeding into MorphOS), original 68k Amiga hardware, and RISC-V.
