Christopher Mitchell has spent three years building a replica British Rail Class 800 control cab for use with train simulators like Train Simulator and Train Sim World. Working within the constraints of an apartment corner, he uses real components where possible and builds replicas for the rest. The control panel interfaces with simulator APIs to both send inputs and receive feedback for real instruments and LEDs. Internally, everything is coordinated via CAN bus, and the build includes genuine AWS sunflower safety indicators for added authenticity.
