The Memo-1 is a 6502-based computer designed to plug into a French Minitel-1 terminal, giving new life to the surplus terminals. It features RAM, ROM, BASIC, an expansion port, dual Atari joystick ports via a 6522, and a 6551 ACIA serial interface chosen specifically for Minitel-1 compatibility. The project celebrates the Minitel ecosystem, which was a pioneering public computing network in 1980s France.
