Fired Marathon director says he's settled lawsuit with Sony

Former Marathon game director Christopher Barrett has settled his lawsuit against Bungie and Sony Interactive Entertainment. Barrett was fired in March 2024 following misconduct allegations from at least eight women, and subsequently sued both companies in December 2024, claiming wrongful termination and withholding of a $45 million payout. A joint statement confirms the litigation is resolved, and Barrett's name has been added to Marathon's credits recognizing his role as original game director.
