Assess and migrate SQL Server Full-Text Search to Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL

A six-checkpoint decision tree helps teams assess whether SQL Server Full-Text Search workloads can migrate to Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL. Checkpoints cover evaluating native PostgreSQL migration, identifying hard blockers (Semantic Search, TYPE COLUMN indexing), validating language support (English only) and stoplists, inventorying FTS query features (CONTAINS vs FREETEXT/CONTAINSTABLE/FREETEXTTABLE), and handling full-text catalogs. Guidance includes sample PL/pgSQL functions replicating CONTAINSTABLE behavior using tsvector/tsquery, plus notes on performance, ranking, and GIN indexing differences versus SQL Server.
