Why private AI is the smarter bet
Enterprise AI deployments are increasingly shifting toward private and on-premises infrastructure, driven by three main forces: unpredictable and rising token-based pricing from public cloud AI providers, security and governance concerns around sensitive data flowing through public APIs, and the growing viability of smaller domain-specific models that perform well on private infrastructure. While public cloud AI remains useful for experimentation and bursting, many organizations are concluding that owning their AI stack is the financially rational long-term choice, despite the added operational complexity.
