Salt Security adds native AI detection and response to agentic security platform

Salt Security has extended its Agentic Security Platform with native AI Detection and Response (AI-DR) capabilities that link attacks on large language models to subsequent activity across MCP servers, tools, and APIs. The feature targets prompt injection, jailbreaks, and unsafe model behavior at runtime, mapping relationships between agents, models, MCP servers, and APIs through the company's Agentic Security Graph. It complements existing AI guardrails from cloud, endpoint, SASE, and AI gateway providers, filling gaps such as homegrown agents running in Kubernetes. The launch follows Salt research showing 92% of organizations lack the security maturity needed to protect agentic environments, with only 18% confident in detecting generative AI attacks.
