Memorystore for Valkey 9.1: 3x QPS Caching

P99 CONF Speaker Spotlight: Madelyn Olson

Redis by proxy: Percona targets the last major hurdle to Valkey adoption

Valkey · Browsing a Valkey keyspace safely: SCAN, INFO, and a read-only ACL user

Pointing a graphical client at a Valkey server that is taking traffic raises two questions: how to safely collect data from the server, and how to properly authorize the access. This post covers how LibreDB Studio answers the first and best practices for the second.

Valkey · Keeping up with AI: Valkey security in 2026

Valkey published more security advisories in the first eight months of 2026 than in its first twenty-one. AI made bugs cheaper to find. This post covers how the Valkey community is keeping up.

Implement a correctness-safe Bloom filter lookup with Amazon ElastiCache for Valkey and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL

Dragonfly 2.0 Delivers More Performance For This Modern Replacement To Redis & Memcached

Dragonfly 2.0 has been released, marking a major version bump that the project says reflects its maturity, performance, and production readiness. The update expands Redis and Valkey compatibility, adding support for Valkey 9 RDB loading. Performance improvements include reduced connection processing and memory accounting overhead, lower buffering and RDB serialization costs, and configurable burst and cool-down limits for background defragmentation. Dragonfly remains licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 and positions itself as a drop-in replacement for Redis and Memcached.

Valkey · Reducing Memory Overhead in Valkey 9.1
