Routing rules now available on AI Gateway

Vercel AI Gateway now supports routing rules, a firewall-style feature that lets teams control which AI models can be used at the gateway level without code changes. Two rule types are available: rewrite rules that transparently swap a source model for a destination model, and deny rules that block specific models and return a 403. Rules are managed via the Vercel CLI and apply team-wide, preserving all existing configurations like BYOK, model fallbacks, and Zero Data Retention. The feature is currently in beta.
